Biography
Mr. Deogratius Thadei is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania (NBAA) and a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University. Mr. Deogratius is the Chief Internal Auditor of DCB Commercial Bank since November 20, 2017. He has experience in external and internal audit, finance and management accounting. His wide-ranging career to- date has spanned across audit and consulting services to banks, insurance and various manufacturing companies. Before joining DCB Commercial Bank, Deogratius was the Internal Audit Manager for First National Bank Tanzania (A division of FirstRand) where he managed the internal audit department and was responsible for overseeing internal audit projects. Prior to that Deogratius worked with Deloitte and Touché ‘as an Audit Associate in 2011.He was able to rise to the position of Senior Internal Auditor during his time at Deloitte
